Book Club Extravaganza

This family literacy event annually promotes reading by encouraging the organization of book clubs in families, schools, churches, work places or anywhere three or more persons may choose. Existing book clubs from the community are spotlighted. Attendees have the opportunity to listen to “Book Byte” presentations giving them a glimpse of good books to read. Age appropriate books for young children, teens and adults are highlighted. Printed materials provide details on starting book clubs. At the close of the event new and gently used books are made available for each participant to take home.
